Pls help me

I am ravi married 1.5 years back.

My wife and her parents harrassing and torturing me amd wofe not ready for divorce.

Indirectly her parents blackmailing me for money.

As I am working in PSU.

Kindly advice me any legal precautions I should take care

Dear Mr.Ravi,

A person with an estranged wife is in really a difficult position, considering how badly the law is one sided in this country in book as well as in practice.

Since the relations have turned sour, and they are threatening, this is the right stage to lay down the basic work for your protection since we apprehend they might actually try to implicate you and your family into these dowry offences (498A etc)

You would be happy to note that the Supreme Court/High Courts/Police COmmissioners have over the years, laid down a great number of safeguards which should be intimated (without lettting your wife knowing about this) to the authorities for your protection.
