Please help me

i would like to know whether the below mentioned facts are true in context to the Indian legal system.

"Any person can make an affidavit provided they have the mental capacity to understand the seriousness of the oath. In certain cases, an affidavit can be made on behalf of another person , such as when there is guardianship of a person who is severely mentally ill and unable to appreciate the consequences of making an affidavit. An affidavit may be in written in the ‘first person’ or in the ‘third person’"

i have heard that an affidavit should be drawn up in the first person only. but is the above mentioned statement in quotes true or false?

Minors affidavits are always made by their guardians. Similarly, incapacity of a person results in his/her guardian to make an affidavit on his/her behalf. Either way, the affidavit is made in first person only. Even when it is made of behalf of some one else. " I, ......, on behalf of ...".
