dear russel

the legal profession is some extent learning by doing.

U may attend the court regularly and watch proceedings there.

Normally there is no petitions in criminal or civil lines of judiciary as in opening session.

Normally before criminal court, it is the filing a complaint by individual or concerned police officer and before civil court it is the presentation of a plaint or filing a suit. Thereafter u can file petitions in corresponding complaint or suit for some ancillary purpose as Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions (CMP) and Interim Applications (IA) respectively. After the presentation of the complaint or suit u have to produce evidence before the court and court also allow the other side to produce evidence on their side. Thereafter court shall hear the argument of both sides and upon evidence and argument court will pronounce its judgment

ok …..
