Hi,
I am fighting a false 498a Case. When I renewed my passport after obtaining No Objection Certificate from the Hon'ble Court, the Regional Passport Office renewed my passport with only one year validity. Is there any citation or instance where the court has granted permission to renew the passport for FULL TERM (10 Years)??? Any help/guidance/pointers in this regard would be of tremendous help.

HC gives NOC for issue of passport. It is the discretion of RPO to validate it for the period he decides. HC cannot issue directions on policy matters.
