Openwell and septic tank distance

Hello,

I am from Rajkanika, Kendrapara, Odisha- 754220.

My neighbor has constructed a septic tank 30 feet distance from my openwell in our village.

I wanted to know the Panchayat rule for minimum distance between an openwell and septic tank.

there is no powers in panchayats regarding this,you have to approach the local SDM regarding this,as there can be no such construction or project in order to pollute the water ,air .

We had put up a Criminal Mise Case U/S- 144 and U/S - 133. To my knowledge it should be 10m min but that statement varies from state to state and time.
