online messaging

sir, do the messages in online sites like facebook are take as proofs if we deleted the Facebook account but the opponents have screenshots of our texts ? but the texts are not related to any harrassment but we are not allowed to contact them as per the police law.

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether deleted online messages, specifically from platforms like Facebook, can be used as evidence in legal proceedings. Even if an account is deleted, screenshots taken by others may still be admissible in court. The general consensus is that social media content, both public and private, can indeed be used as evidence in litigation.

Facebook Evidence Admissible in a Court of Law? ... Whether it's Facebook posts and comments, Instagram pictures, Twitter tweets or YouTube videos, the short answer is yes: both public and private social media content can be admissible in litigation.
