I resigned recently due to various harassment by management. Initially had given 3 months notice although i worked for 1.5 years without confirmation. Offers say if not confirmed in writing then probation. But notice clause says 3mnth. But does not specify whether for confirmed employee or not. I hv fallen sick n dont want to return to serve notice. Have medical certificates for rest of 1 months. Now 1 month passed. Company sending notice to return n serve notice or they will prosecute under false circumstances. Do i have to serve nptice or pay up for 3mnth ? Why? I m technically still probation n yet they want me to serve as confirmed. 1 month is already over. Can any employer not relieve someone after resignation in a free country?
