notarised sales deed importance in bike sale

What if a notarised sales deed is given infront of court by the seller for the notice of claim for the accident caused by the buyer of the bike Does seller is Safe from legal obligations or not or still he has to pay for the claim? Note - name is not transferred No insurance

" name is not transferred No insurance"

It means whole liability lies with owner even if notary agreement is made.
