Name on share certificate

I looked a property for purchase in Navi Mumbai (Old panvel). I have query on that property. Flat is purchased by 1st owner in 2007 from builder and sold to 2nd owner in 2008. Society is formed in 2009 and issue share certificate on 2nd owner name. 1st owner name is missing on share certificate, but chain agreements had 1st owner name. Is it right or wrong? If wrong, please give me path forward on this and legal clause number, so that I can convince society members .

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.

It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters before signing or making payment.

This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

Apparently as per your post the 1st owner was not member hence share certificate is not issued and you have chain of title documents.

Rest obtain proper legal opinion as suggested above.
