I HAD GIVEN A LOAN TO A FRIEND IN CASH 3 LAC RUPEES AND HE HAD PROMISED TO PAY ME BY CHEQUE....NOW JUST WANTTED TO ASK CAN I BE GUILTY FOR MONEY LAUNDERING???

No, but giving loan above 20000/- is hit by 269SS of income tax act.

No guilty. Money laundering is the process of disguising the proceeds of crime and integrating it into the legitimate financial system. Before proceeds of crime arelaundered, it is problematic for criminals to use the illicit money because they cannot explain where it came from and it is easier to trace it back to the crime.
