Marriage

Is it legal to marry your step sibling, when your parents are married and living together for over 15 years.

As per Hindu Marriage act, though the list of prohibited relationships are given.  but there they probhibit adopted relations too. in that Case i have a doubt. so please clarify.

What do you mean by step sibling ?

If the step sibling your father's child from different marriage or your mother's from a subsequent marriage ? in such cases the relationship is not step - but half blood and uterine blood - and no marriage is possible.

if it is step in the true sense then marriage is possible as per my view
