Landlord harassment

1. Whether Landlord's wife is allowed to pass instructions , although he is present in premises 2. Not allowing common area under shed to park vehicle and not specifying a particular area for parking although space available under shed for parking near his vehicle , and telling every now and then to remove the vehicle 3. Quantity of water authorised by tenant for a family of 3 people for daily consumption 4. Not allowing the the terrace area for drying clothes 5.Locking the compound premises without informing and no access to open from outside 6. Not ready to repair current leakage from points due to earth problem 7. Threat of coconuts falling on from roof top , not cutting at regular intervals

The points are example of harassment. Examine the rent agreement and approach the court if required. Sidharth 9811776422

Hi! In my opinion, some of the things you mentioned above, like restriction upon use of water/access to water, and restriction upon other basic amentities, provide you with the necessary cause of action and you can appraoch the Rent Control Court. However, it'd prove more prudent (and perhaps less expensive) to move out and rent a new place.
