Hi,
I have bought agriculture land from one guy 10 years ago and later came to know that it was in litigation between prevoius owner and nieghbourhood farmer. because of this dispute I could not occupy land since 10 years almost. I appraoched many persons for mediation but it did not work out. and land is registered on my name but in passbook still prevoius owner name is there. Recently I am trying to solve this issue, When I approach prevoius owner to change it on my name in passbook, He is avoiding me and dont want to support me to change on my name in revenue records.
May I know what are the actions can I take on him and what are consequences and further steps at this situation
