Startup India registration is an initiative by the Government of India that allows eligible startups to register with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to avail various benefits such as tax exemptions, easier compliance, access to funding, and participation in government tenders. To qualify, a startup must be a new or recently formed entity (within 10 years), working on innovation, improvement, or development of products or services, and have an annual turnover of less than ₹100 crore.
