Rejected during documents verification in psu

I have written a psu exam and was in merit, but was rejected during document verification saying I do not have required educational qualifications. In notification the given eligibility is " BSc with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry ". I had studied BSc with physics as principal subject, mathematics and chemistry as subsidiary subjects. In that psu all recruitments happened till date except this recruitment for that post, candidates with bsc chemistry honors are selected( some had only 2 maths and 2 physics courses). This year BSc chemistry honors students are not selected, but all previous recruitment they were selected. When I talked with psu documents verification officer he told they BSc pcm with equal weightage, which is not mentioned in advertisement. Can a case be filed, what are the chances of winning? Will I get the job ?

You may win, but without verifying the advertisement letter, qualifications, experience, etc., it has to be verified. And it depends on the merits of the case.

If the authorities have rejected your candidature violating their own terms and conditions as notified in the newspaper or any other media towards this recruitment you may file a writ petition or even approach CAT with an OA seeking relief and remedy

The terms and conditions of recruitment has to be perused before making any opinion and oblige.

PSUs are not ccovered under CAT.

The terms and consitions of recruitmet are paramount and practice followd by other PSU as per their rquirene tis not binding on this PSU where you have applied.
