Jilted bride tries to jump from window

Jilted bride tries to jump from window

Chinese bride threatens to kill herself after beau marries another woman days before their wedding.

A jilted Chinese bride who donned her gown and threatened to kill herself was rescued by a couple knights in shining armor - and just in time.

Miss Li, a 22-year-old student in the city of Changchun, had been weeping on the window ledge of her seventh floor apartment and threatening to jump because her beau married another   woman just days before their wedding.

Cops, alerted by a report that Li had just dropped her bag and cell phone from the building, responded to the scene and tried to get her mother and other relatives to convince the bawling bride to go back inside.

But when Li tried to end it all, a quick-moving community cop named Guo Zhongfan grabbed her by the neck and arms and held on for dear life as the despondent bride dangled above the street.

Meanwhile, an identified man who lives on the floor below grabbed Li by the feet and began pushing her back up.

Several tense minutes later, Li was yanked back inside and rushed to a local hospital for an evaluation.

I think NO MAN OR WOMEN IS WORTH YOUR LIFE! China has more men than women because some their culture places more value on males than females.

Very sad to know. But I admire the timely action of Chinese officials.

Maybe the rescuer falls in love with her, proposes her and she marries him. They they live happily ever after.

very sad! shocking why did he have to wait for few days before marriage. if he didn't want to marry he could said a long time ago.

connotations of jilted doesn't suit the serious issue of this case it should changed to betrayed
