A local daily carries out a news article on basis of FIR filed in a local police station where a person is accused of indecent behavior. The person wants to give a clarification on this regard in the same daily. But on the next issue of the paper the clarification is not published and subsequently even the floowing day. The image tarnishing news was carried on promptly without any verification of the accused. What legal options do we have for not printing a rejoinder?
