Importance of general power of attorney

hello experts i have a property in delhi and i only have a general power of attorney with respect to the said property in my fathers name the possession of the property is with my paternal uncle (chacha) what can i do to obtain the possession of the property? my family is not cordial with them ? any suggessions? I would be thankful

sir mutation of property has not been taken place

if i go for a civil suit of possession can i obtain the possession just on the basis of power of attorney?
