How to protect site or open land

Hello professionals ,,, i have a open land or site of 30*40 as i live in other city how should it be protected from other persons (ex:unathuorised construction) should i need to approach munciple office or what should i do.,, rite know nothing happenend but precationally asking..

Put a sign board. Meet neighbor, leave your contacts and request them to inform you if any unusual activity on your plot.
