How to proceed with cancellation of a flat purchase

Hello Community,

I did a booking of a flat in Hyderabad and paid an upfront amount (20% of the sale price) which includes booking amount.

I have made all payments via Internet banking transactions to the property group account held. I have some receipts of the payments made & email communication with the General Manager, Sales of the company.

But the developer has failed to create an Agreement of Sale document even after 2 months of the 20% upfront payment made despite incessant follow-ups with the builder.

I believe i do have the right to back out of the property deal due to the unreliable and unprofessional behaviour of the property group in their transactions.

How can i legally deal with the property group in getting my money back.

Many Many thanks. If someone could provide me a direction.

Regards,

Kartik S

Mr.Kartik,

You can approach consumers forums, opp: Exhibition grounds, Nampally, Hyd., and file an application with all receipts and communication papers, offer letters etc.
