High court stay & transfer petition

Dear Senior Advocates,, I have filed divorce case on cruelty and cheating in April,2017 and My wife filed in July,2017 in different court for divorce & alimony. Both cases are running concurrently in different courts . I have received a high court notice for stay on my divorce petition filed by my wife in high court. In the notice shown as " DIRECTED TO SHOW CAUSE ON OR BEFORE 12-09-2018 TO WHICH DATE CASE STANDS POSTED, AS TO WHY IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES SET OUT IN THE PETITION,THIS TR.CMP SHOULD NOT BE ADMITTED" kINDLY GUIDE ME HOW TO PROCEED,1) I want to appear as Party in Person &,, shall need to file counter or only arguments 2) directed to showcause on or before 12-9-2018 means ? 3) with notice I have not received any petition copy, how to file counter then & argue. The Divorce petition filed by going in my favour and I can not afford lawyer at high court.

You appear on the said date and ask judge for the copy of the petition.
