hand loan given in cash more than 20000

Dear experts, we have given cash loan for 50000, for that we took cheque as a security can we deposit the cheque to recover the same amount and also Pls tell me if the cheque bounces will the same stand in criminal court and also Pls let me are there any chances of canceling case since loan given in cash.. . Pls quote any relating provisions.. .
