A property bought in Chennai in 2012 for a consideration of Rs. 48 Lacs. I am dependent on someone to carry out demolition and reconstruction works, and I am not resident in Chennai. Demolition works started in October 2012, still unfinished due to neighbor’s trouble. The neighbor’s relative is the seller of property. A police complaint is given in December 2012. No effect. Therefore, for direction, I have moved High Court and for permanent injunction in the City Civil Court. It is taking time Advocate commission appointed by High Court is given a clear report on boundary of each owner in April 2013 and confirmed I have not demolished the neighbor’s property. His main counter complaint was I have demolished his wall. During court holidays, I have also sent a letter to Commissioner of Police Chennai with a copy to Chennai Corporation Commissioner, about this incidence and disowning any responsibility if something happened to building.
The work yet to be completed is ground floor and some ottuchuvars (Our wall on neighbor sides) on two neighbor’s side, and the building is in a dangerous condition
One side is common passage.
My request is in this situation, I can work on demolition works without waiting for court orders.
