Great Grand Minor Daughter / Grandson Rights on Grandfather Self Acquired Property.

I just not to know, if my Grandfather has a self acquired property and he died in 1988 , not having will , and has 5 Sons and 2 Daughters, still not gets partition or not divided the property , My Father is not responding on Property Matter ,and 2 Uncle are enjoying the property benefits, like shops rent, using land for there own business activities etc. As a Grandson can i have any rights for claim or just wait and watch.
