Family property right

Person A filed a Civil case in court against another person B.

One of the sons of person A, joins with the person B in that Civil case and took a stand against the family in that case in Court.

Is it true that, this son of person A, can not claim any share from family property in future, because he took a stand against the family in the Court?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether a son who sides with an opposing party against his own family in a civil court case forfeits his right to claim a share of the family property in the future. The specific reasons for the initial civil dispute between Person A and Person B, and any internal family disagreements, are also considered. It's important to note that this civil dispute is separate from how Person A might choose to distribute their property among their children.

Why did A file the case against B? Are there any disputes among the family memers of A and what is the relation between A and B?

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     09 June 2024

The civil dispute between A and B is different to that of distribution of property by A to his children.
