Evidence destroy

I had recording of my wife, in which she is accepting that she has done in my home. Recording was saved in my laptop and in external hard disk. My wife n father-in-law broke my laptop and external hard disk to destory those recordings. I am a computer engineer and not only they destroed recording but also my computer programs and research work for the last 6 years. Police has only charged section 34 and 427 on both of them in this regards. Is there anyother charge that i can put on them. Like destroying evidences n my computer work.
