Is it a tenented property? It appears you have got notice from your landlord. If it is so it wud depend upon the local laws as every state has its own rent act. Anyway contact a good local advocate and show him the notice and do reply it.

I belong to Maharashtra State. Yes i m a tenant (by pagadi). I got a notice from my landlord.
