Doubt

So this came across to me this recently, my friend hadn't wished his wife on her birthday, their anniversary and on valentine's day, can this amount to cruelty by husband? And later on be used as a ground for divorce?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether a husband's consistent failure to acknowledge significant dates like his wife's birthday, anniversary, and Valentine's Day could be considered cruelty under Indian law. While the initial thought might be that such neglect could form grounds for divorce, the consensus suggests that proving cruelty based solely on these actions might be challenging in Indian courts. The advice given is to test the legal waters and see how the court might rule on such a case.

The reasons you have stated can not make a valid ground to prove cruelty in India.

Really in India too we are falling prey to such stupid jokes.

1. The Wife may "TRY" to file "Divorce" proceedings and see if the court gives any favorable orders.
