There was a leak of my credentials on my american express credit card after which I blocked the credit card by calling on their customer service number. I told Amex not to issue a new card, but they issued the card. I did not receive the new card as my address was changed by the fraud people. Now american express is asking me to pay the outstanding amount and recovery agents are calling me and coming to my home. I have written several mails to their head of customer service but no one is responding. The recovery agents are clearly misusing RBI guidelines.
Please suggest what should be my best course of action. I am a regular office-going salaried man.
