Dasarahalli gram panchayat approval of layout plans of rachenahalli

I have purchased a site in Rachenahalli which is part of residential layout plan approved by the president of Dasarahalli Grama Panchayat office, K R Pura hobli ,Bangalore South Taluk in 2002 . Does the Dasarahalli Grama panchayat was the competent authority to approve layout plans in 2002? Does the approve was legal ? If yes any supporting notifications? If no then who was the approving authority? If it was BMRDA/BDA what were the jurisdiction limits of these authorities in 2002?

Contact local lawyer for proper legal guidance.

Local Karnataka State laws / Grama Panchayat rules apply to the facts posted, if it is a true story consult a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of facts / documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding.

Prima facie you have given an examination for experts on this site / from all over the country to solve the riddle.

The plan was approved in 2002. Who can now say whether it is correct or not? Inquire local authorities if it is true.

The approval of layout plans in Rachenahalli by Dasarahalli Grama Panchayat in 2002 may not be valid, as the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) had already proposed acquiring land in Rachenahalli and other surrounding villages for the Arkavathy Layout Scheme. Competent Authority -

*Bangalore Development Authority (BDA)*: The BDA is the primary authority responsible for planning and developing layouts in Bangalore. According to the BDA Act, 1976, the authority has powers to approve layout plans and acquire land for development purposes. -

*Grama Panchayat*: While Grama Panchayats have powers to approve certain development projects, their authority may be limited when it comes to large-scale layout plans, especially those that fall within the jurisdiction of the BDA. Jurisdiction Limits of BDA in 2002 -

*Notification*: On December 10, 2002, the BDA passed a resolution to issue a preliminary notification under Sections 17(1) and (3) of the BDA Act, proposing to acquire approximately 3000 acres of land in 14 villages, including Rachenahalli. - *Acquisition*: The BDA's proposal included acquiring land in Rachenahalli for the Arkavathy

1Layout Scheme, which suggests that the BDA had jurisdiction over the area.¹ ² Legality of Approval - *Possible Conflict*: Given the BDA's proposal to acquire land in Rachenahalli, the approval of layout plans by Dasarahalli Grama Panchayat may be questionable. It's possible that the Grama Panchayat did not have the authority to approve the layout plans, especially if the BDA had already initiated proceedings to acquire the land. -

*Supporting Notifications*: To determine the legality of the approval, it's essential to review the relevant notifications and documents, including the BDA's preliminary notification and the Grama Panchayat's approval order. Recommendations - *Verify Documents*: Verify the documents related to the layout plan approval, including the approval order and the notifications issued by the BDA. - *Consult Authorities*: Consult with the BDA and other relevant authorities to determine the validity of the approval and the current status of the land acquisition proceedings. - *Seek Legal Advice*: Consider seeking legal advice to understand the implications of the BDA's proposal and the Grama Panchayat's approval on your property rights.
