Court clerk charges

On each date court clerk ask for money. Being a house wife I donot have any earning resources. Can I say to judge that your staff is asking money on each date?

Courpt lawyers, clerk and police always ask for money for any action.

Yes, report it to the judge on your next date of hearing.

In written or oral? Will this make any effect in my running case?

Its your choice and it will not effect on your case.

Don't pay a single penny to these down market clerks. It is my experience that unless there is some kind of backdoor support from the judge, the court clerks would not dare to do a thing like this. Anyhow, report it to the judge at the next hearing by filing a written complaint.

As if it is not known already?

what is the case

Even complaint will not bring any relief. It is your fate to suffer. It is commonly known to all in the courts.

@ Anil Aggarwal- I disagree with you.  As a lawyer, I tell all my clients not to pay a penny to these clerks and readers in the court if they want to retain me as their lawyer. I have got 25 court clerks dismissed from service for asking litigants to grease their palms with money. What we lack is a strong will to tackle corruption. It is the 'chalta hai' attitude which has emboldened these people. You are a sufferer by choice and not compulsion.  You need to have the courage to take these people head on. It does make a huge difference.

Agreeing with Mr Devassar I will add that not only court clerk but even judges have been trapped taking bribe and jailed.
