Wrong date of birth

Hi to All,

Wrong Name and DOB on my all documents. I want to change. Applied for name change gazette and it is approved.
now want to change my DOB. Plz guide..

Correct DOB - 19/04/1984

Wrong DOB - 10/06/1984.

Date and month is wrong but Birth year is correct. I have no document with correct DOB. How can i change my DOB. Some say make Delayed Birth certificate at native place if birth not registered.
my parents are at native place, can they make application and affidavit to get delayed birth certificate of Adult child?? Or i have to travel.
is there any other option to correct DOB without travelling to native place?
plz guide in this regard..

Quick Summary
This discussion focuses on the challenges of correcting an incorrect date of birth on official documents when no supporting evidence with the correct DOB is available. The original poster has already obtained a name change gazette and is now seeking guidance on changing their DOB from 10/06/1984 to 19/04/1984. They are exploring options like obtaining a delayed birth certificate from their native place or approaching the civil court, but require detailed information on the necessary supportive documents.

Certificate of Panchayat/ Municipality, hosital records, first school admission and/or any other document qua your birth, besides aadhar card and oral testimony of witness(es).

Did you ask from your professor/ tutor/ coach before posting this query.

I was born in home and birth was not registered that time. Birth certificate was not issued.
When i joined school, they enetred wrong name and DOB and later it carried forward to all documents.

i have no document which mention correct DOB.

Yes, the only remedy is in registering your birth as per the extant norms.

You cannot register the birth at this  stage before the concerned authorities.

What is the relevance of the correct date of birth to the existing one, i.e., whether you have any documentary evidence to prove that this current date of birth is incorrect and the one what you state is the correct one?

Do you have documentary evidence to prove your statement, if so then approach the concerned registrar of births and deaths with an application  to furnish birth certificate with correct date of birth, if refused then you may have to approach a civil suit with a suit for declaration to declare your correct date of birthr with a direction to the concerned authorities  to issue a new birth certificate with the correct date of birth incorporated in it.

Thanks for detailed reply.. i have no documentary evidence.. except family register.. which shows month and year but no date..  parents can give affidavit and also my neighbours can give affidavit..thats it..
