X is convicted of an offence of robbery.X prefers an appeal against conviction to the appellate court.pending the disposal of the appeal,is X entitled for bail or/and suspension of sentence?

In case of pending appeal, the sentence will be suspended and "X" is entitled for bail. But grantng of bail is a discretionary power of the Court.

Bail shall be granted pending suspension of the sentence till the finalizzation of appeal in the given facts.
