Child's Middle Name

Good DAy!

I need a specific Indian/Hindu law that would show that the children of a hindu couple would take the FIRST NAME of the FATHER as their MIDDLE NAME and not the mother's maiden name. this is in relation to a case forwarded to my office where an Indian/Hindu couple, residents of the Philippines, wants to correct the middle name of their child which appeared in the Philippine civil registry using his mother's maiden name. Please advice sooN!

thanks!

I dont think there is any such codified law. There may some customary law... which may take the force of codified law in due course of time.
