Actually my father has filed case related to Writ Civil - SERVICE MATTERS - PROMOTION/SENIORITY in 2007 and court gave decision in favour of my father on 16-Apr-2015. My father retired on 28-Feb-2015. Because of pending court case decision at the time of retirement, his pension and final settlement was not initiated citing reason that it will be done on the basis of high court decision. Its been 7 months since the court has given the decision, the final settlement is not done and the pension has not started. My father case file is floating from one department to another. it is causing a lot of inconvienence to my father. Please let me know if contempt of court case can be filed against the government department in which my father was working.
