Cheques Bounced

My cheques has bounced and I have issued a promissory note also.

I also have admited in the court that I have to pay the said amount and also had taken the date for compromise but didn't do it now my lawyer trying to show that the cheques are given as security and not for repayments.

Next date is for Cross examination of mine.

Compainant has filled another case meanwhile for remaing cheques, which has bounced last month and I didn't pay even after getting notice

Please advise.
