Hello all.
One of my friend had asked for 1 L a year ago. I had given him a cheque. Now he is not ready to pay back. He says he didnt take money from me. But since i had given him a cheque in his name, Can i use this cheque legally to get the money back ? Please help

Yes, you can file a money recovery suit against him, but, you have to issue a legal notice before that demanding your money.

He is staying in a rented house currently. If i file a case and he moves out.. how will the case proceed?
