Can a lawyer appoint agent?

Hello... can a lawyer dealing in making of affidavits / agreements etc ie does paper work, appoint agents for him to get more business. Can agent advertise on his behalf also?

The lawyer may appoint an Assistant to do paperwork and any work may be entrusted except pleadings in any court of law.

Sir, can a lawyer appoint a sales agent..  somone who goes out in market and gets business for the lawyer..

As per Section 36 of BCI rules, an advocate shall not solicit work or advertise, either directly or indirectly. So my opinion is that a lawyer cannot appoint a sales agent.
