How can one get rid of these brokers who compel you to pay brokerage at the time of renewal of lease agreement? My landlord is okay to renew the agreement without a broker but the brokers have been harassing me and him over the phone. Why dont people put a stop to it?
I wonder which idiot started paying this in the first place to encourage such a ridiculous act. What can one do especially when one lives alone in a country like India where a woman's safety is also doubtful? What should one do to put an end?
