Bns vs ipc—what’s actually changed in day-to-day drafting and strategy?

For those handling criminal matters: beyond the headlines, what shifts are you seeing after BNS? I’m curious about charge-sheet structure, common section substitutions, bail notes, and any template tweaks (FIR/complaint formats, etc.).

For context, I came across a plain-English hub collecting explainers and checklists on a legal directory:

If there are better resources, please point them out—would be useful to compare.

@ Best Lawyers United States,

Neither facts nor query is clear, it is better to consult some local prudent lawyer, if you have any such dispute/ problem.

However, provisions of Bhartiya Nyaye Sanghita, 2023 and Indian Penal Code, 1860 are applicable in India only,  which shall not apply for crime(s) committed in United States.

Prima facie it is an academic / time pass topic authored  by an anonymous author ??????

You may better discuss such issues with any experienced consultant outside this forum.

Yes.  You can engage an advocate in India or abroad.
