Blank signed paper

Hi

I have given blank signed paper to my inlaws for getting marriage certificate done.

Pl note:

1) Sign is on the bottom right hand side without date

2) also it has numbering as well like "1) my name and signature" as applicant suppose to be me and my wife so her name was suppose to come as "2) her name" but my wife did not do sign that time...

But now i'm feariing that they might misue the same.

Can you please help in this? Is my fear unncessary? If not, what care should I take?

desperately waiting for an answer...

Quick legal remedy: To ‘rest’ your fear approach marriage resgistration office with allegations of possible fraud / forgery using blank signed papers with In-Laws.

Then all your fears will come to rest once registrar investigates and then replies to you about the matter.

Illustration:

You have dozens of blank signed cheques kept in your cupboard. If one of your relative approaches you for its safe custody and after giving them to him you come here and ask question of ‘fear of withdrawal’ then be prepared for any possible misuse also.

Social remedy: Call one of these days your FIL over GDD (Golf-Dinner-Drinks) and sweetly ask him about the fate of blank signed papers. He will boost something about them and then make informed decision to approach our Chamber or close this query.
