Are these things really an offence?

the law that prevents betting, gambling, prostitution in public etc. is unconstiutional by these doctrines. to use these doctrines one has to apply to supreme court.

now the question is who shall bell the cat? who will dare to apply to supreme court to challenge the law on these topics?

the moment one applies for, the bullying indian media will try its best to demonize one.  india seems to be not only poor in terms of money but also poor in terms of thought too.

Problem is not what you are saying, it can be debated and fine tuned...

The bigger problem is our politicians (with few exceptions);

1. They will see p*rnography in assembly but ban it otherwise.

2. They will keep someone for pleasure and talk of morality.

3. They will promise better post for favors.

List is unending..........

So whom will you tell to make the law on these

exactly.

we should challenge the constitutionality of these laws in supreme court. if sc made them unconstitutional, then india would be a better place to live.

Our Supreme Court is not bold and straightforward like US Supreme Court. Can we ever expect to get a bold judgment from our Supreme Court like that in City of Charleston v. The Kanawha Players. I have mentioned the same at https://www.lawyersclubindia.com/forum/Everyday-violation-of-right-to-free-speech-57084.asp

The day our Supreme Court starts giving bold and honest judgments, this country will get a new direction and life.

While exiting the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked by a woman, "What kind of government have you given us?" Franklin responded with one of the most famous quotations in history, "A Republic, if you can keep it." Same applies to us. If we let these elected and unelected functionaries of government make laws which are against the Constitution, we will eventually lose our republic or whatever is left of it.

why don't NGOs come forward to put these issues to sc? our paid media is obviously a problem since it is totally owned by congress govt. even if sc gives any judgement, if media don't brodcaste them, the judgement will never be enforced.

why indian thinks that these issues are bad?  are indians really slave minded and don't have any head to rise?
