Aftermath of discharge

Dear Sir, In continuation of my previous query I have further question. I have 498a/406. Before filling discharge on the basis of Jurisdiction and Malified investigation, I see discharge is a costly thing as far as time and money is concerened. My question is after discharge can wife again file complaint in applicable jurisdiction? Or court may order for reinvestigation? If yes than what is the benifit of discharge?
