Adopting a child.

Hello,

A friend recently told me that he knows a woman who has a 6 month old child. She is a married woman, but her husband has separated(not divorced) from her.

This child she has is with a man other than her husband. She does not want the child because of poor financial condition.

So my friend is advising me to adopt this child.

Please let me know if there will be any legal complications now or in the future if I decide to adopt this child?

Regards,

Milind.

Yes.  There may be many.  First contact a local advocate and Social welfare officer to know such laid down procedure for official adoption.  The lady can desert the child in one orphanage, and you can get official adoption through the orphanage.  There are many many complications in taking a child locally from known persons.  Think twice and get a child adopted from a different place and no one should know about you.
