About maternal granpa's will

Dear Sir/ Madam. Good day to u .If a Maternal Grandfather made a will (after demise of his wife and also his daughter) that contains that the son in law will be the owner of the property and can enjoy the incomes but after his(son in law's demise) the property should be transferred to his grand children. But the son in law married another lady & got children too.Now without the knowledge of the grandchildren (all r marred now), he tried to sell the property and it was stopped by well wishers of the grandchildren. How can the grand children take possession of the said property or to stop their father to sell it at least. Father never take care of them. Pl advise. Thanks in advance.

Ask the grandchildren to file a suit for permanent injunction against selling the property.

Pl. get in touch with a local lawyer who is well versed in property law, show the documents, discuss the matter and take things forward.

It was conditional Will where Interest of the grandchildren were protected and any infringement of the terms and conditions give ground for getting order of the court for permanent injunction against the beneficiary/son in law. The grandchildren should seek from the court protection of their right in the property that they feel is being taken away by the father who is trying to sell the property.
