Properties listed as A Khata fall under B.B.M.P.jurisdiction,while B Khatha properties, can upgrade to A khatha by paying a fee known as Betterment charges along with the appropriate documentations. It is advisable for property holders under B Khatha to upgrade,since there are many advantages owning A Khatha.
