Dear Sirs,
I want to sell a house inherited by me. It was built in Year 1966 by my father. For the purpose of calculation of long term capital gains, how to get the value of this property for which no record is available. Which department of the government can give this information ? I would be grateful to receive a guidance.

Government had declared ready recokner rate for the perticular area according its value is calculated.
The depreciation is also calculated for past 50 year then todays value is calculated.
