Society not allowing me to rent my flat

What is the reason given by society for not allowing to rent the flat?

I was secretary 5 years back..due to resignation of many members( including me) administrator was appointed and now after election new committee in power.They are claiming i had not submitted all documents to committee .Just random claim..not giving list of documents..whatever was with me i had submitted to administrator with acknowledgement..

If flat is ownership premises

In many states NOC is not mandatory

Committee is wrong on that note to not allow you to rent out your flat. You may give it on rent and file a complat against the society and committeee members before the Dy- Registrar of Society who will look into it and give you adequate relief.
