I am residing in an apartment in west bengal where Owners Association is not a registered society. One flat owner do not pay his maintenance charges. Can association take any step against him being a unregisteredt society having bank account? The owners association is having no other social activities except collection of maintenance charges and proportionate municipal tax since the mutation process is pending.
Please give me an advice so that we can get legitimate contribution from him
for appartment association registration under Society registration act is not require though you should get registered with appartment ownership registration department at NEW SECRETARIATE BUILDING, and that will be legal one, but without registeration u can run ur association, no illegality will be there in the eye of Law,. thanks.
whether it is LEGAL registered society consisting ADVOCATES alongwith other than law graduates AS MEMBER under ASSOCIATION name like "district tax bar association"? Do a Bar Council LEGALLY affiliate such so called "bar" society/ association? Please enlighten me? Thanking you.
