W.P. is dismissed file an appeal or S.L.P. in the supreme court. Dismissed for default for restoration writ Proceedings Rule of High Court or C.P.C. is applicable.  Article 145, 215 of the constitution of India also applicable in the absence of H.C. Rules.

Dear Devi Rudra,

first of all for writ jurisdiction you need no rules or sections. it simply depends on the usual practice of High Court.  Secondly ur question is incomplete. dissmisal of writ on merits, than you can file appeal. if writ has been dismissed in default than you can move application for restoration under article 226 itself. mentioning of legal provision is not mendetory under writ jurisdiction.
